High Un-employment
During periods of severe economic stress, there may be long periods of high un-employment. The government needs to jump start the economy by borrowing money and creating temporary jobs.

At this point in time, 11/04/2010, we should use the government to create more jobs by increasing the effective tax rate on the wealthy and contracting business to build and maintain infrastructure.
We should also increase funding for research and development of new technologies.
We should also rapidly automate the education process using computer based education and using video technology to leverage the skills of our best teachers.
Education should be moved from a government provided service to a business service contracted out and funded by government.
