Fixing government

The basic problem with federal government is the concentration of power in the hands of the few by rule, law and judicial decisions - exactly what the founders wanted to avoid.

The two party system encourages a "you scratch my back and I will scratch your back" horse trading process which produces much bad law.

To combat these changes since the Constitution was written, we proposed these Constitutional Amendments:

  1. All districts for Federal offices shall be constructed by computer algorithm to be best fit least geographical area based upon most recent census data.
  2. All elections funded with public money shall be open to all eligible voters.
  3. All bills for Federal law shall be single issue and limited to one thousand words.
  4. Any member of a legislative body shall be able to recommend a law which must be voted up or down without change by the whole body of representatives.

The primary function of government is to protect individuals and society from harm.

The way we management government needs to change. Bills need to solve problems not just reward one segment of society at the expense of the rest of society.
